Actually, she made a whole cheese out of it. And cheese is a huge deal in France. There are several hundred varieties, as closely defined by the government as wines are, and made carefully by centuries-old recipes. The French take their cheese seriously!
But not everything deserves to be made into such a big deal. He forgot to say hello to her? He left his socks on the floor? He recycled the newspaper before she had finished reading it? Come on. Let it lie.
